New Box Source Integration is Live 🎉

We just shipped our Box source integration and wanted you all to know about it.

Here’s what you get: sync your Box files, folders, and all their permission metadata straight to PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, or any of our destinations. Takes under 5 minutes to set up, handles everything from file content extraction to permission auditing.

I think that the permission data piece is particularly useful. You can audit who has access to what, track collaboration patterns, run compliance reports, or build AI applications that respect access controls while giving your models enterprise content context.

Some quick use cases we’re already seeing:

  • Storage cost analysis (find those 100MB+ files eating your budget)

  • Security audits (see exactly who has edit access to sensitive folders)

  • Compliance reporting for governance requirements of Box data

  • AI pipeline integration (with proper access controls)

The sync includes tables for files, folders, collaborations, users, groups, and collections. Plus we extract text content from documents so you can actually search and analyze what’s inside your files.
