We heard you loud and clear after launching Reports a few weeks ago. You loved the premade reports but kept asking: “Can we build our own?”
Well, here’s your answer: Custom Reports is live right now.
Your cloud setup isn’t like everyone else’s. Your tagging strategies, security requirements, and cost priorities are unique. Generic reports only get you so far, especially when you’re dealing with complex multi-cloud environments where visibility needs to match your actual infrastructure.
What we built: Complete control over your reporting. Start from scratch or modify our existing reports. Choose your visualizations (tables, donuts, line charts, bar charts), group metrics that make sense together, apply custom filters, and share with your team.
Some ideas to get you started:
- Visual security scorecards combining IAM permissions, network groups, and encryption status
- Custom compliance reports for your specific regulatory framework
- Resource-to-team mapping based on your tagging scheme to catch orphaned assets
- Cross-cloud configuration consistency tracking
- Dependency visualizations showing which databases connect to which applications
But honestly, these are just starting points. We’re curious to see what you build that we haven’t even thought of yet.
Check the Reports docs for the technical details, and our Reports Hub for a list of all the templates, and if you build something interesting, share it here. We love seeing how you’re solving problems we didn’t anticipate.
