Folks: New to this and trying to understand. Is API key required for self-hosted option? Can we run self-hosted and free version without API key?

Hi Krish, you can technically run the free version without an API key. You won’t be able to use any of the plugins listed on the CloudQuery hub if you download them though -

No, it’s not mandatory. We have a lot users of cloudquery, free and paid, not using the API key. Our SDK is open source so users often build their own integrations or use community built ones.

We charge users for the number of rows they sync using the integrations our team builds and maintains.
